2010 Upcoming Events

Higashi Sensei Clinic

There will be a Higashi Sensei Clinic on May the 20th weekend in New Brunswick. The Clinic will take place at the New Maryland Elementary School.

The schedule is as follows:

Thursday, the evening of May the 20th, 7:00 to 8:00 juniors, 8:00 to 9:30 Black Belt and adult kyu belts, @ the New Maryland School.

Friday morning, of the 21st, 10:00 am to 03:00 pm, Black Belts, @ the New Maryland Rec. Center.
Friday evening 6:00 to 10:00 pm, Gradings, @ the New Maryland School.

Saturday morning, the 22nd,  @ the New Maryland School, from 9:00 to 10:30 am, Black Belts, 10:30 to 11:45 juniors.
11:45 to 12:30 belt and PTR signing.
12:30 to 1:30 lunch, and from 1:30 to 4:00 Black Belt and adult kyu belts.

Sunday the 23rd @ the New Maryland School, from 9:00 to 11:00 Black Belts, and 11:00 to 1:00 Black Belts adult kyu Belts.

Cost: $30:00 for Black Belts, $15:00 Kyu Belts, and $5:00 for Juniors, payable at the door. Looking forward to seeing everyone, it’s going to be a great weekend!

 

Chito-Ryu Tournament

Hello everyone,

The Chito-Ryu tournament has been rescheduled for June 12th and will be held at the Rothsay High School in Rothsay, New Brunswick from 9am – 5pm.  (Tournament will start at 10am sharp)

Cost per event will be $15 or $25 for two events. The registration form is here please return to me by June 7th at the latest if you plan on attending. (Money can be paid at the door but we need the registration information to complete the draws.)

Everyone has lots of notice this time so we would really like to have as many athletes, coaches and officials as possible in attendance. Thanks very much and I hope to see you all there!!

KNB ATLANTIC CHAMPIONSHIPS

  • DATE: APRIL 24/10
  • TIME: TOURNAMENT WILL START AT 10AM
  • PLACE: SAINT JOHN BOYS +GIRLS CLUB 1 PAUL HARRIS STREET SAINT JOHN,N.B.
  • COSTS: ALL EVENTS WILL BE $15.00(EACH) TEAM KATA WILL BE $30.00

Pre-registration is to be in the hands of the tournament director (names) no later than APRIL 19/10 Please bring cash to the tournament to pay the registration fees. Any registrations that come in after that date will not be accepted. All kumite participants are reminded that they have their mouthpieces and proper protection (jock/jill) in order to compete.
