CLUB FEES
There are two terms per year: The first term starts in September and the second term starts in February. Fees are due at the beginning of each term
The total fee per term is comprised of two parts:
- A registration fee paid to the Chito Ryu organization: Each term the registration fee is $50 per member.
- A club fee: Each term the club fee is $100. However, there are special family rates described below where the club-fee is waived.
Family Rates
The family rates are provided to encourage parents to register and participate in the class. The club fee is waived in two circumstances:
- If a parent of a registered child joins then the club fee for the parent is waived.
- If you register more than two children per family then the club fee is waived for the third, fourth, fifth, etc… child.
Note: In the circumstances described above only the club fee is waived. Everyone must still pay the $50 registration fee per term.
Children are defined as 16 years of age or younger.
The minimum age required for registration is 7. (Your child must turn 7 by December 31st in order to be eligible for registration.)
For example:
The total dues per term for registration a family of 4 children, and one parent would be $50x5 = $250 registration fee, plus a club fee of $200 for a total of $450.00 per term.
The total dues per term for registration of a family of 1 child, and two parents would be $50x3 = 150$, plus an additional fee of $100 for a total of $250.00 per term.
This fee structure is subject to change.
Please Note:
All children under the age of 12 must have a parent or guardian present in the gym at all times. If you are not taking part in the class, you still must remain in the gym while your child trains.
GRADINGS
To be eligible for grading you must be a registered member, attend a sufficient number of classes, and obtain permission to attend the grading. The grading fee for kyu belts is $30. This fee must be paid before the grading occurs.
Attendance will be taken at the end of each class. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure their attendance is recorded by the instructor. The minimum required attendance for each rank will be provided at the beginning of the new term in Sept.
Students are presented with a belt and certificate at each belt level as they progress to brown belt. The fee for successful belt grading is $30.
For further information about the fee structure and/or Registration, please contact
Robert McInnes or Jonathan Webber (Rothesay) or Andrew Lanteigne (Hampton).
