The New Maryland Karate Club hosted a three-day Coaching Clinic recently, focussing on instruction for beginners. The clinic was conducted by Derek Ryan, representing the National Coaching Certification Program. Participants included karateka from New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland.
